Dr. Mary A. Flowers recently published her first children’s book, “Max Goes to the Farm.“

Three others will soon be available: “The Dog Who Wanted to Be a Hog,” “The Boy Who Loved Cats” and “The School of Fish Who Went To School.”

She has also published “The Door Of No Return,” which is a historical non-fiction about the slave house on Goree Island in Senegal (West Africa).

Educated at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Flowers specializes in disorders of the kidney and lives in Alabama.
